Front will start operations in Chile and looks for more than 100 professionals

  • The multinational company, developer of a customer service platform, sees Chile as a technological hub from where it can operate in the region.

The multinational customer service company Front is preparing its arrival in Chile, for which it will hire more than 100 professionals from different areas, such as designers, software engineers, finance and human resources, to be fully integrated into the company’s global teams.

“Our initial focus is on building a presence around Santiago, but we are open to talent from other regions depending on the role.” says Arjen Mackaaij, Chief People Officer at Front. The benefits will be comparable to the other offices of the companies, located in San Francisco, Chicago, Paris and Dublin: competitive salaries, complementary health insurance, welfare bonus, education bonus and additional days off for welfare and rest. Regarding language, good verbal and written communication in both Spanish and English is required, and the modality of work is remote, with the possibility of opening an office depending on the progress of the project”. A new and improved customer service

Front is a customer service platform that helps companies delight their customers’, engage their teams, and empower their businesses. The company was created in 2014 in San Francisco and currently has offices in the United States and Europe. Santiago will be the first office in Latin America.

“We have chosen Chile because of the availability of talent in the technology area, the recognition of its universities, the good time coverage with the United States and Europe, and the possibility of hiring not only in the country but also attracting the best talent from other countries in the region using the residence permit program for technology professionals. In this aspect, we see Chile as a technology hub from where we can operate in the region,” says Dan O’Connell, CEO of Front.

Francisco Mardones, who advises the company on its arrival in the country, points out that InvestChile was a key partner in facilitating and promoting the landing process. “Having a specialized Promotion Agency is a differentiator among the countries in the region and significantly contributes to making the decision that Chile is a reliable destination to invest in. We hope to continue relying on this support as Front’s growth plans materialize,” says Mardones.

Why choose Front? As O’Connell explains, the company has reimagined what a customer support platform should do, enabling real-time collaboration across all digital communication channels, powered it with AI and automation,  making problem resolution more efficient and, in the process, helping teams work faster.

“When businesses use Front, their customers receive exceptional service, whether they’re looking for a simple, instant response or personalized help for their most complex issues, and they’ll get the analytics and insight their businesses need to optimize the customer experience. More than 8,500 companies of all sizes around the world rely on Front to deliver an incredible customer service experience that wins and retains customers for life,” he adds.
